At night in Denver Robyn Jeffries, owner of a janitorial service cleans the United Financial Bank as she does almost every evening. Suddenly all hell breaks loose when someone with a gun stops another trespasser. However, she becomes involved interfering with FBI Agent Killian Hart’s efforts to arrest McKnight. Killian and Robyn become hostages of McKnight.

Robyn and Killian escape, but once free go their separate ways. However, when he overhears a police radio state that someone tossed her apartment, Killian feels compelled to see that Robyn is safe. As they fall in love, the danger Robyn remains high as the culprit believes she knows where the bank robbery loot was left when McKnight made his hasty escape.

This police procedural romantic suspense is an enjoyable tale starring a fabulous heroine who shows her fear, but refuses to succumb to her fright. The story line moves forward rather quickly from the moment that Robyn kicks the gun out of Killian’s hand until the climax in which the hero tries to rescue his beloved from the last person he would suspect as the perpetrator. Readers will feel the same way albeit that twist, but still fully appreciate this gripping action-packed adventure.
