A Cure for the Common Curse Jackson Locke is a private investigator hired to find out if his client’s wife is unfaithful. Locke discovers the wife’s infidelity with the owner of a New Age bookstore who happens to also be a witch. Jackson is cursed by a plague of demons that hide his camera, change his alarm clock and generally raise havoc in his life. After he learns more about them, he is able to use them in novel ways to solve his cases and to find a new love. Lazarowitz has written a comic look at the private investigator and their strange array of cases. Missing persons, clandestine affairs, and murder are some of the cases that pop up in this delightful offering. Lazarowitz continues to impress us with his ability to change genres and entertain us equally in any of them. | |
