Evidence of Harm EVIDENCE OF HARM is not a book one would expect to be reviewed in Baryon. However, it has elements as horrific and fantastic as anything ever published. The truly horrific fact is that this is a non-fiction book. EVIDENCE OF HARM's subheading is Mercury in Vaccines and the Autism Epidemic: A Medical Controversy. Autism has grown from an incidence of 1 in 10,000 births in the 1980's to 1 in 166 births today. That is an epidemic. And if you are a parent of one of those children (and I am) you will find much food for thought in this book. David Kirby is a journalist who has done an extremely good job of presenting the facts of this situation. One fact is that a preservative in children's vaccines known as thimerasol was made with 49.6% mercury. Mercury is a neo-toxin. The very government that daily advises pregnant or breast-feeding women not to eat tuna because of mercury poisoning says there is nothing wrong with injecting little babies with mercury. I won't try to make the case here. If you are a parent, a family friend, educator, or just an interested person who is wondering where all these autistic kids came from all of a sudden, you can find a very plausible reason in EVIDENCE OF HARM. You will also find deceit, malpractice, and malfeasance on a grand scale by pharmaceutical companies and government agencies such as the CDC and politicians and even some doctors and scientists. You will find reason to forever oppose any future political aspirations of Tennessee senator and Majority Leader, Bill Frist. I am a life-long Republican voter who will. EVIDENCE OF HARM is a tremendously important book. It reads as easily and as interestingly as any novel. This is a subject near and dear to me and it deserves the attention of concerned and caring individuals. Read EVIDENCE OF HARM for yourself – it might prove of importance to someone you love. | |
